Account Service

Purpose

XRPL accounts are easy to spread across wallets, one-off scripts, and informal team habits. As projects and people multiply, onboarding, handoffs, and ongoing oversight become harder. Account Service centralizes creation, configuration, and lookup so the account lifecycle is managed in one place—giving individuals and teams a shared, repeatable way to work with accounts instead of rebuilding ad-hoc workflows each time.

How it fits in XRP Cloud

You use Account Service in both Personal and Organization workspaces. Accounts are scoped to projects: each project is the container for the XRPL accounts you manage in that context, whether the project belongs to you personally or to an organization you work in. That model keeps a clear boundary as teams grow and responsibilities split across projects.

Address Book helps you label and reuse XRPL addresses in Personal or Organization scope. It complements Account Service when you need a quick reference list; managed accounts from the service can also surface in organization address books for shared visibility.

Status

XRP Cloud is under active development. Sign-up, onboarding, and day-to-day console journeys—including how Account Service appears in the product—are still evolving.
